Montana Libertarian Party Honors Mike Fellows, Establishes Volunteer Award in His Name
On December 5, 2017, the Board of the Montana Libertarian Party unanimously passed a resolution honoring its longtime Chairman, candidate, and activist, Mike Fellows, and established a volunteer award in his name.
The resolution noted that the late Mr. Fellows “was a tireless and outspoken advocate for liberty” whose legacy “serves as an example of personal responsibility, perseverance, and tenacity [...] to current and prospective volunteers.”
Today, on the anniversary of Mr. Fellows' birth, we are inspired by his accomplishments and look forward to commending those who follow in his footsteps.
Resolution to Honor Mike Fellows and Establish an Award in His Name to Recognize Exceptional Volunteer Efforts

WHEREAS, the Board of the Montana Libertarian Party is pleased to specially recognize and commend exceptional volunteer efforts in the cause of advancing liberty; and
WHEREAS, Mike Fellows was a tireless and outspoken advocate of liberty who displayed passion, commitment, and selflessness as a representative for the Montana Libertarian Party; and
WHEREAS, Mike Fellows gave generously of his time and energy to serve with great integrity as Montana Libertarian Party Chairman, candidate, and alternate representative on the Libertarian National Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of the Montana Libertarian Party affirms the Resolution on the Late Montana Libertarian Party Chair Mike Fellows of October 13, 2016 passed unanimously by the Libertarian National Committee; and
WHEREAS, the legacy of Mike Fellows serves as an example of personal responsibility, perseverance, and tenacity and as an inspiration to current and prospective volunteers; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of the Montana Libertarian Party:
- Honors Mike Fellows’ exceptional dedication and service; and
- Further resolves to recognize exemplary volunteer service within the Montana Libertarian Party with an award named for Mike Fellows.
